The story
J'adore by Dior is one of the great floral perfumes for women: golden, luminous and elegant, in its famous amphora-shaped bottle. It smells like a bouquet of real flowers rather than something sweet or sugary.
What it smells like
Ylang-ylang, pear, melon, bergamot, mandarin and magnolia give it a bright, juicy opening. The heart is the reason people love it: two jasmines (grandiflorum and sambac), Damascus rose, tuberose, orchid and violet. Musk, vanilla, cedar and blackberry give a soft, clean finish.
When to wear it
Elegant enough for weddings and evenings, but light and polished enough to wear every day to work. It is a classic gift that is hard to get wrong.
