The story
Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum is the warmer, rounder version of one of the most famous men's fragrances of recent years. It keeps the fresh bergamot opening everyone knows, then adds vanilla and soft spice, so it feels smoother and a little more elegant than the Eau de Toilette.
What it smells like
It opens with juicy Calabrian bergamot and orange. Sichuan pepper, lavender, star anise and nutmeg give the heart a gentle warmth, and the base settles into Papua New Guinea vanilla over the clean, mineral ambroxan that makes Sauvage recognisable from across the room.
When to wear it
A safe choice for almost any occasion, from the office to a dinner out. The vanilla makes it especially good in autumn and winter evenings in Beirut, while it stays fresh enough for spring.
